FAQs

Good day everyone,

This page aims to answer some of the most common questions I receive. Please take some time to read through them. However, if you still need further clarification, please do not hesitate to write to me via the Contact page.

Note: Below updated as of 03 March 2017

DO YOU HAVE ITEMS FOR SALE?
Items available for sale will be posted on the Our Shop page. This page will direct to items available by category. Once an item has been spoken for, the item will be marked ‘SPF’ and later ‘SOLD’ once payment is received. Eventually all items ‘SOLD’ will be removed from the page to make it neater and so that it does not take up too much hosting space.
If you are looking for a particular item not listed on the For Sale page, please send me an email .

HOW TO BUY?
Easy! Go to the For Sale page and browse. Once you have decided which ones you like best, send me an email via the Contact page to let me know. I will then reply you with more details. Done!

HOW TO PAY?
At the moment, the best way to pay is via Paypal. I am happy to receive payment via other payment method. Bear in mind that you may need to pay any additional fees.

WHY PAYPAL?
Paypal is international and it offers buyer protection. Their safety and ease of use features makes them the ideal choice for online payment worldwide. I am open to using other payment gateways as long as they are safe for all parties involved. In the past, I have also received payments via bank T.T, bankers cheque and of course good old cash.
If you prefer to make payment by other means, please email me about it prior. Thanks!

CAN I PAY IN OTHER CURRENCY?
In the past, I have been receiving payments in USD. This is due to the fact that only a few years ago, banks in Malaysia started to link up with Paypal. I was slow to jump onto the wagon. I am now working on a getting this matter sorted and start getting payment in Malaysian currency (MYR). This should happen in the next batch of crafts for sale.
However, it will probably be either in USD or MYR and no other currency.

WHAT IS THE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS LIKE?
I ship all items via Pos Malaysia (air freight) with tracking number. It costs a lot to ship a large item like a parang. Shipping one of our parangs to countries like USA and UK costs anything between MYR140 to MYR160 (about USD32 to USD36) , depending on weight (as of 03 Mar 2017). Below is a sample payment I made for two parangs recently.

Shipping via Malaysian Post via air is the best option. Cost slightly more than sea freight and generally takes about 2 to 3 weeks to arrive

The cheapest way to ship is by sea but it will take more than a month to arrive. The fastest way is by a postal service called EMS but it will cost considerably more than the above. If you require a different method for shipping, do let me know and we can make the necessary arrangements.

CAN I PURCHASE LOCALLY IN MALAYSIA?
In the near future, yes you can! I am working with several retailers to have Sepuh Crafts items featured at their store. However, the stores will most likely be located in Klang Valley only.
